Please join us by supporting the Kelsey Research Foundation as we continue a 60-year tradition of creating strong partnerships with Texas Medical Center institutions to conduct research studies that have led to significant treatment discoveries for individuals with life-threatening conditions. These strengths are the heart of the Kelsey Research Foundation and have inspired our new tagline: Collaborate. Study. Discover.
Please help us continue to collaborate, study, and discover by making a gift today to one of the following Foundation programs.
KRF-UTHealth Microbiome Center: Conducts clinical research focused on restoring the intestinal microbiome to treat a variety of disorders including recurrent Clostridium difficile infection, Parkinson’s disease, irritable bowel syndrome, and obesity in patients with fatty liver disease. This program is conducted in collaboration with UTHealth School of Public Health and UTHealth McGovern Medical School.
Bob and Vivian Smith Epilepsy Program: Helps patients and their family members manage and understand seizure disorders by providing free support through individual educational counseling and support groups and conducting research to improve management of epilepsy.
Joe and Jessie Crump Cancer Program: Improves the quality of cancer care and health outcomes of patients with cancer at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic. Collaborates with other research institutions to offer educational programs for cancer survivors, including Active Living after Cancer in conjunction with MD Anderson Cancer Center and the Dr. Eli Root Program.
