The Golf Classic serves as the primary fundraising event for the Foundation. This support is critical to funding KRF’s medical research and health education programs that might otherwise not be available to our community including the Alzheimer’s Association U.S. Study to Protect Brain Health through Lifestyle Intervention to Reduce Risk (U.S. POINTER) extension study focusing on a lifestyle intervention aimed at those who may be at risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia. In addition, KRF continues to facilitate programs and studies such as: Active Living after Cancer and other initiatives aimed at improving the lives of all Houstonians and beyond.
